Do I need a Pyramid Lake Fishing permit?

Yes, you will need to purchase a Paiute tribal fishing permit to fish with Captain Brad, or on your own on Pyramid Lake. You do not need a Nevada fishing license to fish Pyramid Lake.

Do I need to bring my own gear?

No, we provide standard gear such as rods and reels so you don’t need to worry about anything. We recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and any personal items you may need for a day on the water, food and drinks. We provide all the fishing gear, but feel free to bring your favorite fly patterns if you have them!

How many people can join a fishing trip with Captain Brad?

Our trips can accommodate small groups, ensuring a personalized experience. Whether you’re fishing solo or with family and friends, we tailor our outings to suit your group's needs. All prices include room for 3 anglers, with the option to add up to 3 more for a total of 6 anglers per fishing trip.

Do I tip My Fishing Guide?

It is customary to tip 20% or more to your fishing guide if you had a great fishing experience. We work hard to ensure you are in the right location based on water conditions and fish patterns, and that you learn how to use the equipment and have a great time doing it so you can enjoy fishing for many years to come.

How Do I pay for my Fishing Charter?

Payments

Book by placing an initial deposit to reserve your date, then proceed to charge your credit card on file, charge a new credit card, or bring cash to finish our your fishing adventure.

What is your Cancellation policy?

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 5 days before your fishing trip date to receive a refund on you deposit. Cancelling inside the 5 day window allows Captan Brad to retain your deposit. If you captain needs to cancel due to weather, health, or equipment, you will receive your deposit back in full to your original payment method.
